Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FieldQ application and services provided by 42vlabs ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using FieldQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of the Application
FieldQ is an estimate and invoice utility designed to assist trade contractors in drafting, calculating, exporting, and managing business documentation. You retain sole responsibility for ensuring the legal accuracy, tax calculations, and compliance of any estimates or invoices issued to your clients.
2. Licensing and Device Allowances
FieldQ operates on a non-subscription model. Subject to these Terms:
- Free Tier: New installations receive access to 5 completed, unwatermarked bids with full feature parity.
- Consumable Bid Packs: Additional bid allowances can be purchased in batches (e.g., 10-bid packs). Revisions and edits to previously completed projects do not consume additional allowances.
- Lifetime License: Grants unlimited bid creation. A single user license allows active sync across up to three (3) mobile terminals and one (1) dedicated Desktop Office Hub.
3. Purchases and Refunds
All in-app transactions are handled via the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
4. Data Backup & Local Storage Responsibility
FieldQ functions as an offline-first tool. While optional cloud sync services are provided, you acknowledge that you are responsible for maintaining backups of your device data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, operating system resets, or unbacked local storage.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
FieldQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. 42vlabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from lost business, calculation discrepancies, or invoice disputes between you and your customers.
